Supplies & Consumables
Here is a brief list of what we supply at the start of your stay:
- A Welcome Pack of (usually) semi-skimmed milk, and Welsh Cakes.
- A small supply of tea bags, coffee and sugar
- 2 or 3 dishwasher tablets
- Washing-up liquid
- A new scourer/dish wash pad
- 2 or 3 washing machine tabs
- 1 or 2 kitchen towel rolls
- a few coffee percolator filters
- A few black bin bags and food waste bags
- 2 or 3 toilet rolls per bathroom/ w.c.
- a container of liquid soap per bathroom/ w.c.
- During the colder months – October to April – a starter bucket of logs, a couple of firelighter cubes, and some kindling. There’s a box of matches on the top shelf in the utility cupboard (kept out of reach of children). Further logs, kindling and firelighters may often be obtained from most petrol stations, Aldi, Tesco, and the small grocery shop on the west side of Johnston (opposite Nisa).
- Replacement light bulbs, on request
We do NOT supply:
- Salt, pepper, spices or oils
- Shampoo or shower gel
- Bird seed or fat balls
- Extra logs (beyond the starter bucket load)
